Turn off:Ensure the iPhone is completely turned off to prevent any short circuits.
Heat up the back cover:Use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat the bottom edge of the iPhone for about 90 seconds until the back glass is warm but not hot to the touch and the glue softens.
Use suction cup:Use a suction cup to attach the bottom of the back cover and pull the suction cup to create a small gap.
Insert opening pick into the triangular opening:Then, insert the opening pick in the gap and slide along the edge to cut the glue,be sure not to insert more than 3 mm.
Process the edge:Continue the same process of applying heat and inserting an opening pick to process the left, right and top edges of the phone.
Pry off the back cover:After you cut the glue, you can carefully lift the back cover, trying not to yank any brittle wires(e.g.the charge coil).
Clean and prep for reassembly:clean the bonded area with alcohol and apply new glue to the required areas.
Reassembly:Line up and press the new back cover, ensure all clips are seated and no glue has spilled.
